UROLOG ~Innovative Ideas, Physical Energy, and Mental Energy, It's the Springtime of Life~
Hi there! I am a urologist-clinical researcher specialising in genitourinary cancers.
I write about clinical fellowships in Canada & Australia, medical practice, and what it is like to live abroad.
Please enquire from this form.
PROFILE
I was longing to become a sergeon from childhood as I grew up watching my father, who was a general surgeon specialized in gastric cancer.
Amongst many medical specialities, I was particularly attracted by urology since it dealt with broad ranges of organs affected by cancer, from diagnosis to treatment.
Having learnt clinical medicine (MD-PhD course) at medical school in Japan,
basic medicine from a microscopic point of view in Australia,
public health from a macroscopic point of view in UK,
genitourinary medical oncology in Canada,
and urology in Australia,
I'm now dedicated to genitourinary cancer treatment back in Japan

Research
My research expertise is translational studies focused on predictive and prognostic models for genitourinary cancers (kidney cancer, prostate cancer, urothelial carcinoma, testicular cancer, and retroperitoneal tumours).
